David Schultz Recognized in "Top 40 Intellectual Property Attorneys" by Minnesota Law & Politics

recognized David Schultz in the "Top 40 Intellectual Property Attorneys" feature published as part of the "2008 Who's Who in Intellectual Property" for the June/July 2008 issue. Each year Law & Politics sends out about 16,000 ballots to Minnesota attorneys and asks them to rank their peers within 55 different practice areas based on case outcomes, experience, representative clients, professional honors, and community service among other factors. The "Top 40" distinction is drawn from the results of the research process.

David Schultz is a member of Maslon's Litigation Practice Group. He focuses on trial and appellate work in intellectual property and commercial litigation, and civil and criminal fraud. Over the course of his career, David has represented clients in a range of intellectual property litigation including trademark and patent infringement, and misappropriation of trade secrets. He also has represented individuals and corporations in complex commercial litigation, as well as matters involving civil and criminal fraud, particularly in the health care arena. He has conducted public and private investigations into issues of complex regulatory compliance, academic fraud, financial fraud and criminal sexual misconduct. David is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried numerous cases in state and federal courts throughout the country. David has developed an active appellate practice as well, having argued more than 30 cases before several federal circuits as well as the Minnesota Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
